This IN-LINE Air Purifier is a new product that we have actually developed and engineered ourselves - it is an Air Purification system that will fit into your existing air conditioning system using the powerful combination of Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) and UV light. It will not void your warranty and constantly cleans the air throughout your entire boat while the system is running.
We work so hard to make your limited time on your boats enjoyable - we take care of all the hard work so you can just come and relax. Why TiO2?
TiO2 has strong oxidation effects on single-celled organisms including all bacteria and fungi (mold). The very strong oxidizing power of TiO2 can destroy the bacteria’s cell membrane, causing leakage of the cytoplasm, which inhibits bacterial activity and ultimately results in the death of the bacteria or fungi. The same is true for viruses.
Generally speaking, disinfection by TiO2 is 3 times stronger than chlorination and 1.5 times stronger than ozone. On deodorizing, the hydroxyl radicals created by the UV-A/TiO2 reaction accelerate the breakdown of any volatile organic compounds (VOCs) by destroying their molecular bonds. And did we mention it is completely GREEN?

How does it work?
When light energy in the UV-A range hits an anatase crystal of titanium dioxide, it creates an energy band gap that turns that energized crystal into an electron magnet. When water molecules pass by the energized TiO2 (and water vapor is almost always present in the air), electrons get pulled off the water molecule. Chemically, the energized TiO2 electron magnet turns H2O into 2 Hydroxel ions or (OH-).
The hydroxyl radical is one of the most powerful scrubbing agents in nature. it is 4 times stronger than 100% chlorine in its oxidative power: its ability to break up organic molecules. And since mold, bacteria, viruses, and VOCs are organic, they are powerless against this technology. And we can put this power in your boat’s air system.

To further improve your boat’s air quality, ask about our application of TiO2 to your boat’s interior. It will be working whenever UV light is present (windows) even when your A/C system is not operating. It is completely transparent and safe for most surfaces and is not removed with non-ammonia-based cleaners.
