True story: our dog had very serious surgery 2 years ago and due to the extent of necrotic (dead) tissue, she did not have a good prognosis. In addition, the dying tissue was almost unbearable to smell - and it filled the house. The vets said her skin would prob. never grow back and infection was inevitable. In a moment of desperation, we moved the BIOZONE next to wear she was laying. By the next morning, the strong, putrid odor was gone. Within days, we starting seeing healthy tissue. Not only did all her skin (and hair ) grow back, but she remained infection-free. The vets could not explain her recovery - but we still feel very strong that the plasma was killing any bacteria as well as providing an oxygen-rich environment for the skin to heal. And as a bonus, her life-long “doggie-smell” was also gone. She had a completely neutral odor. That alone pretty much sold us on these units! Of course we can’t guarantee wound healing- but it does provide a cleaner environment for any type of well-being!
